Silent call Another call that remains silent when answered. On phoning back the line is engaged. Expect they are scamming some other poor person out of their cash.
Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 011724443xx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far. People did someone answer it?

This is aqua credit card. They called because I had attempted to make a large transaction. They asked me if I made that transaction and two other recent transactions. They knew who the transactions were with and for how much, and the caller addressed me by name. Basically, I’m convinced it was really them. To verify they were talking to me, I was asked for the first line of my address and postcode, my date of birth and the first two letters of my memorable information.
I didnt answer because it was an unknown number but they left a voicemail which sounded like a robot saying I needed to call them back with my solicitor and they threatened to push for legal actions if I delete the voicemail or ignore them

Man with Indian accent said his name was Ray Hamilton claiming to be calling from HMRC and said I was due nearly £500 in tax rebate. Asked for my card details but didnt give them to him as it is a scam. HMRC wouldnt ring to say you are due a tax rebate let alone ask for your card details on the phone.
Calls both my house phone and mobile, every day! Told them I'm not interested, but man I spoke to said that if I don't answer his questions he'll keep phoning if I don't and there's nothing I can do about it. Scum!
