Fraud Was chatting with someone online who gave me this number. Claimed she was 20 years old. Then she sent a nude pic of herself, then told me she's 17, but 18 next month. So I called a halt and said sharing pics with anyone under 18 is illegal, let's leave it here. She then looked me up on Facebook and threatened to tell my family I was sharing pics with a 17 year old unless I gave her £300. Telemarketer called and tried to sound like an independent insurance reviewer who wanted to make sure my life insurance doesnt lapse due to new legislation I tried to explicitly ask if they were a government body or private organisation and instead of giving me a clear answer he proceeded to say they are not trying to sell me anything and they work with all insurers and asked whether i had life insurance I asked for their website and was given httpwwwsearchlivecom basic webpage clearly spam

Unfortunately I did not get the name of the company but they were very aggressive at trying to make me claim for fictional "injuries" from a recent Road Traffic Accident (no fault of mine, another car scraped the side of my vehicle). I am furious they have my name, number, son's name and possibly other details - who gave it to them?
Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real
As with the previous callers, a text message about unable to deliver a parcel. I've blocked the number and deleted the text.

Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
