Had a call from.this number but im pretty sure its been spoofed as it came up with +44 instead of the full area code. Claiming to be citizens advice which unless you've called them which i havnt they dont call you. Hung up and blocked. Had calls from other similar numbers too and sounded like the call clicked to be recorded was silent to behin with.
Looks like dating related scam. Asks to contact on WhatsApp probably to get phone numbers.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. After my appointment I checked with my bank and with our own insurance documents. So... there is no existing relevant payment arrangement wit

On examination, the very nice lady called Jenny said she was calling from South East Asia. I too have solar panels and I have had eight calls in the last week from a Chelmsford number. Its as good as a scam, pretending to have discount vouchers for work on your house to be more eco friendly. Very persistent and don't take no for an answer.
Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!)
