I made online enquiries about a boiler plan which appears to have sent my number onto various companies - this one included as saying it is E-On calling about that that enquiry. I suspect it s a general telemarketing call centre instructed by various companies to tout business. They keep calling. I ve just blocked the number.

I have received a call from an older gentleman promising me petrol vouchers and subscription to a magazine for £1 charged off my bank card. I received a call and when I pick it up instantly hang up.
Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.
