Just made a payment via login to my Vanquis account. Payment made and showing Authorised. BUT after a few mins, here's/following message was being received. 'Your payment has been declined. For security, can you reply with your date of birth?' I'm very much doubted. then immediately checked my paying card's bank account, payment had taken and left from that account. There s something very screwy about this number. They ve just tried to call on my landline, it rang three times and then cut off. Immediately I was called on one of my mobiles by the same number but the problem is it wasn t the number I have currently registered with Santander, it s one that was removed from my account about a week ago. When I tried to call back I got a recorded message saying Santander tried to call. I don t know if this is a scam or not but it s a real nuisance.
