Thank you Google , I almost got scammed, from 289-624-5300 *// 289-624-4285 * // *647-354-2063 *//..I was about to call this person for a list of software programs that I wanted for my home and new business office and I noticed that this seller was in Toronto, Yes !, So I was happy about what he had to sell because I wanted these programs,and my 14 year daughter, said she had a bad feeling about this software guy. These people called claiming to be from the BT preference service. I told them I wasn't interested 3 times. Since then I've had three silent calls - all 6 calls were today. This is a scam.

It is alleged that they took part in a competition and are now supposed to pay for it.
This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
Answered. No sound from caller then hung up.
