Got a call today from a foreign woman claiming to be from "Consumer Lifestyles" asking me to do a survey on my "lifestyle" ie shopping habits, likes and dislikes, all the usual crap to illicit personal details from you and even how to stop unwanted calls!! Boy, did I laugh especially when I said "Like the one your giving me now!" Fraud. Automated female recorded voice claiming to be from Amazon wanting to give me back £79. Wanted me to press 1 to talk to customer services, to provide my bank details. Didn't bother as never had an Amazon account and can spot a scam a mile off.

Telefonica UK Ltd appear to be the issuing party for the No. The No. appears to be from Guandzha being part of the Russian Federation using Telefonica to piggyback a free ride in to peoples homes using the 02 network. Costs: landline to mobile either 6p or 32p per min & 3p and 40p per min between mobiles.

01244 521272 rang and a male with a foreign accent said hello my name is Michael calling from Technical Solutions Dept I told him I should not be receiving cold calls but he was talking over me so I disconnected the call. When I checked the number showing on my landline screen it flashed between International and 01244 521272 of which one is a code close to me and the number was the same as a company I have had recent dealings with which has a different area code. Very strange probably a scam.

I've been receiving repeated calls from numbers in the range +44 1892 502868-887 for around 10 days now, several times a day. Often the calls stops ringing after just one ring. No voicemails have been left. When I try to call back I get a recorded message saying 'this person's phone is currently available, please try later'. I cannot find the owner of any of these numbers online.

Ring at all hours, always silence on the other end of the phone or hang up after a few rings. Its a premium number so I guess they are looking for people to call them back so that they can make money. Extremely persistent and annoying.
