Received call at 11'35am this morning, 14/02/23. Phone reported it as "Suspected Spam" so did not answer.
Very demanding when calling. Kept telling my elderly mother to call another number she became very upset and confused.
Recorded message with an American accent claiming to be HMRC pursuing legal action.

This is probably a cloned number! I received call from this number on my landline. It was a scam call (live not recorded) purporting to be from BT internet about my internet line. I do not subscribe to any BT products, therefore considered it to be a scam. Could hear background noise as per a call centre.

Didn't recognise the number so let it go to answerphone no message left so I can only surmise it's someone trying to sell something as otherwise they would have left a message.
Asian accented male called "George" who wanted to know which handset and mobile provider I was using. I asked if he would like to stop wasting time and just ask for my credit card details. He hung up.

I just got a call claiming (falsely) to be from this number, claiming (again falsely) that it was BT Openreach (or something). It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.

Fraud - claimed to be welsh government doing a survey on employment but the gov know my household is not employed due to sickness and being a full time carer The only companies are HMRC and DWP you should speak to, and they rarely call you without a letter to inform. Or, a letter reccomending to call them to resolve an issue. DO NOT TRUST. They will try collecting personal information.
