It turns out those businesses are their other client's debtors too and they use their private data illegally. Unfortunately we fell for this scam and paid. If you look carefully. You will find very vague Companies House details, the actual business is dissolved where they've taken money of lots of people and just closed it down, they have no registered company at Companies House (

The company is called AIMS Legal and is also known as AIMS Reclaim and AIMS Financial. This is their address: 7, Trident Park, Trident Way, Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 3NU. Tel: 07677 448277 or 01254 454012 or 01254 297161. They are one of those spammer companies who will offer to reclaim your PPI for a large fee (when you can do it yourself for free). You can stop the calls by complaining to the Telephone Preference Service by filling in a very short form here: http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/C
