getting so many of these sites calling now such a pain driving me mad

Neville from Vehicle Assessment Centre called to speak with the driver from an accident in September last year. When questioned further caller hung up. I believe details of accidents noted with insurers have been sold on to third party companies illegally.

SCAM / SPAM scammed my mum £85 gaming cards on amazon....

Received 2 calls in 2 days - both silent when answered! Number is showing 01934 as if in my local area - but somehow I think not!

SCAM / SPAM Very suspicious call recieved to my mobile claiming that I had placed an order for £5000 of books and that they were ready for payment and despatch. Thankfully I didn't give them any information and when I started questioning them, they hung up.

Accident Asked for by a fictitious name I have used in the passed for scammers who have now obviously sold my details on. All regarding a road accident that was not my fault, obviously. Total Scam and probably from India. No wonder their covid rate of infection is so high still trying to steal peoples cash from their crowded call centres. This call was actually followed up immediately from another number 01942917200 with the false information I had just given.

a SCAM perpetrated by HMRC? Could not sort Tax code out online and was told to ring another number. Called it and after lengthy process getting into the right Q and waiting 18 minutes was told to ring 08444740101 instead. (charged £12.25 for waiting during that call!). I rang that number and after another 20 minutes listening to Muzak...eventually got someone....30 minutes later for an error HMRC had made I discovered a charge of £17.45. for calling HMRC! Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 028958328xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident chasers, PPI, insurance marketing, worked in a loud industry - all that stuff. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems) Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
