Called today, asked me to confirm post code,phone no,who I bank with, any loans outstanding & who with. This too much, I asked again whose calling, he said ? From Manchester. I knew something funny, phone code is Birmingham. Put phone down.He called back after few mins, not answered, check phone no. These type calls need stopping somehow.

Claimed to be from Bank of Scotland. The man must be stupid as he gave his surname as 'Jones' which is highly unlikely when he was obviously Indian with his extremely thick Indian accent. He gave my name then proceeded with 'security' questions. When he asked for my date of birth , address & postcode etc. I said no and he hung up.

I don t know why the authorities don t ban people/companies who do this (i.e. dial and hang up so they will get paid by people trying to call back)
