Persistent annoying calls when answered automated voice to call back

Probably Simply Business, as I did an online business insurance quote with them at the weekend, which returned zero quotes. They ve called 4 times already today, starting at 09:05. Now blocked them. Unsolicited calls from people who pretend to have an online quote system are just rude.

Phone rang, no answer then I hung up. Dialled 1471, I got their number. Very irritating, feel like ramming the phone down their throat at times!! Received this call several times before despite we are registered with TPS. Surely the Govt should legislate against such nuisance calls. Best advice is to lobby you local MP and emailed him/her this number.

This number called me after I had placed a request for a tradesperson to do some work for me. His accent sounded very artificial as if it wasn’t his normal accent. He may have been genuine but I don’t think he was. It is showing as a number from Russia and I live in the UK. He said he would come this evening to look at the work that need to be done. He would not take any details about where I live but wanted me to text them to him. I have read that 0738 is associated with scam calls so did not text.
