SCAM / SPAM Automated message saying it's HMRC calling regarding a fraud case. I doubt the HMRC would call in this way. They ask you to press 1 to sort the issue. I would assume they start charging you an extortionate fee if you press the number. Do not press. If HMRC want to get in touch with you, they will do it with a person on the phone, not an automated message.

This number belongs to a company called Intelling Ltd based at Wythenshawe (Manchester) and Belfast. An O2 customer service representative confirmed that it is an O2 number, or rather that O2 uses this company to sell its services. The Managing Director at Intelling is a chap called Phil Morgan. You can contact Phil (and I suggest you do) by calling 0161 902 3721. My advice is to continue calling that number until you are put through to Phil. SCAM Saying I need to pay a delivery charge of £1.99 from Royal Mail as they missed me today, I’ve been home all day & no-ones come to my door. Went on their actual website not the one in the text message, & the tracking number is not recognised.
SCAM / SPAM I suspect a scammers phoned me claiming there is a tax fraud under my name. Telling me to press 1 and if I did not do this I would be arrested shortly. Of course I just hung up, no fraud office, tax or otherwise would conduct itself in this manner.

Rang today, when I asked why they had called me and how they received my mobile number he just continued with PPI refund speech. Again I explained that I don t have loans or a mortgage so he then began to question me as to if I knew what PPI was as I must have signed up for it. Rude and don t take no for an answer so next time they call I am going to blow a whistle down the ear piece of my phone.

had many missed calls from this number over 2 weeks. They actually rang today whilst my phone was on! I answered and they wanted money for lifeboats. I said no and hung up.
Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.
