Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.

I received a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC & that I should not ignore. As this is now the 3rd number they have used I called back & told them this was a scam. They then said I shouldn t use language like that as HMRC could have me arrested, or something similar!!

It was a recorded message saying "this is your bank. three withdrawals have been made on your card this morning...." and went on to list various sums. No name of bank, no name of card or card holder. The number used is not listed by my bank. Very suspicious.

Someone pretending to be Amazon saying someone’s purchased an iPhone 11 for £1499.99. Had no email from Amazon confirming this order which is how they would normally process orders so instantly knew it was a load of horse dung so told them to sod off and hung up. SCAM.
