SCAM, saying someone has bout an iphone on my account, called my landline, Amazon do not have this number, I use my mobile
This appeared to be from a Bank, it didnt say which alleging that there had been two suspicious transactions on my card and asking me to press a number on my phone to accept these transactions. The message was recorded.
SCAM called reckoning to be from O2 offering me a 50% discount. Said they would send me 2 texts, so I put phone down

Automated call - said there was suspicious activity in my account which is when I hung up and checked my account which was fine so I think this was a SCAM. If there had been something untoward with my account, my bank would have called me with a real person not an automated version. 17/08/22
SPAM This is a recorded message purporting to be from BANK SECURITY (No name of bank or account). It says two withdrawls have been made on your account from Amazon transactions then goes on to press buttons etc. DON'T DO THIS. Part of a group of Chinese scammers currently operating a fraudulent website which was advertised by a 'recruitment agency'. Do not engage with any of them they are definitely not from the UK and will lure you into their scam.

A chap from a loft insulation company. Seemed genuine but I had my doubts, he didn't tell me what company he was from. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. Just said my loft insulation was inefficient, I just put the phone down and blocked the number.

SCAM - home appliance washing machine. Young lady, sounded like a human not a recording, British accent, told me (using my name) that she was calling about teh washing machine policy registered at my address (which worryingly she also knew). This is a well known scam. I told her that she knew as well as I did that there was no such thing and suggested she get herself a proper job.
