This is the HP support number. I had been speaking to them about an issue with my HP laptop, so they did have a legitimate reason to call me a few days ago, but the case had been closed so I chose not to take this call.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Had a call from this number 3 times this week

Addressed me by my first name and asked if I had a PPI claim refused. Devious as they used a local area code number

Identified herself as Gemma, said my car had been in an accident. It hasn t. Hung up when asked repeatedly what car it was.
