"Microsoft" scam, claims she's from Microsoft and there's a problem with my computer and wants to take over my computer to put it right (she must of thought was born yesterday!) so played along with her for a few minutes before calling her a scammer and that there is nothing wrong with my computer. She obviously wasn't happy but she kept the scam going so I kept winding her up making her more annoyed. This number claimed to have been calling about my ‘recent car accident’. Out of curiosity of what this woman was going to say I said ‘Which one?’. Straight away she said ‘Ok, we’ll take you out of our system.’ Clearly this call was a scam.

The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

Phone Number from Bradford, 01274647318, I answered the phone and a recorded message said that if I did not talk to them I could be arrested, they claimed to be Customs and Excise, I waited and a man answered and he asked for my name, I declined and hung up. Possibly a scam

Claimed to be from TALKTALK technical dept, asking whether i had problems with internet. I'm aware of these scams so played along for a while and it was the usual thing; they get you to look up Windows Eventviewer , see the number of 'errors', say 'Oh my God', then tell you it can be fixed by doing what they say.
