I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. Each time I make a purchase from Amazon, an automated call comes from this number, advising me that my Amazon Prime has been renewed for another year at a cost of £79.99, and asking me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to confirm. I do not subscribe to Amazon Prime and have checked my Amazon account to confirm this. The number has called on 3 occasions on 1 day.

Caller asked for the home owner and said it was not a sales call. the company did have our surname but did not ask to speak to Mr or Mrs......... When I asked how they got our number (ex-directory) they just put the phone down.
