Been called four times a day for the past three days from yhis number. Every time is a different scam. First they said they were my bank. Second time they were M&S, third they were trying to "make my computer secure" because they could see it had been accessed from Africa. The scams never end. Finally I said "you do know you re ringing a neighbourhood police station don t you?" And the caller hung up and so far hasn t rung back!
This is the Axa PPP Healthcare calling back after I'd logged a call with them. It's not spam or a scam.
They phoned me earlier. Couldn t understand what she was saying but I heard £1000 because your a home owner (I m a private tenant). I asked her to hold and just put call on mute. Managed to get to 1 min 47 before they ended the call haha
Left two messages and asked to speak to a relation that has never lived here. I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.

Had a Spam Call with 01223936981 displayed (Cambridge). Recorded message played to me with usual '£700' suspicious charge from Amazon and '£2000' International Charge made on my Account etc. Ignored the request to respond. Telephoned the displayed number 15 minutes later, got 'unobtainable signal'. Note : an hour earlier had the same call but with a local Northampton number displayed. I called this number and the residents did not know anything about the Call. They reported it to BT for investigation.
Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. For mac uses Spotlight to launch console - didn’t run with it any further. Caller does know the name accociated with the phone number. Caller has strong asian accent with a regular uk name.
