SCAM fake Amazon reminder call
Spam. Trying to get you to agree to a survey to sell insulation. Cold caller telling you your loft insulation fibre is coming through your ceiling into your lungs. Asked what insulation they are recommending and he hung up.
I have answer machine if the caller does not leave a message then I assume it is a scam end of . If I am wrong I am wrong but that is my response to unknown numbers particularly from London area

Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.
Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.
Unsure, only phoned me randomly. Didn't do much more. I had a spam alert but unsure if that means anything. I never picked up so I cant confirm anything.

SCAM 'John' phoned re me possibly being eligible to a free pendant alarm. Then switched to a pre recorded presentation and I could not get my question in. 'John' came back on line and would not say where he had got my details from and he terminated the call

When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. Hmrc scam call. Says you'll go to jail if you don't pay. Never give bank details or payment details over the phone.
All these numbers with this prefix are usually cold calls. Could hear lots of noise as if in a centre was not anyone I know, they hung up.
SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . This is a scam number as they have called my house phone number today saying my bank cards have 2 transactions going out,that are not recognised, little do they know my house phone number has never been given to anyone apart from my sister in law who lives abroad as we don't use it we use our mobiles. So this would not be linked to any of our banks, and its an auto mated message.
