Was sent straight to voicemail, even though they rang me. Disconnected call and immediately got a message on my phone advising about blocking scam callers, was about to click yes, when a link appeared to a website? Seems like some kind of scam, avoid and beware!

Asked for me by name, appears as local number but isn't. Said they were ringing about my recent accident when I told her I hadn't had an accident she asked me if I was sure! I told her to take my details off their database with no real hope they won't ring again #w*rs

Just had a fun half hour with this bunch, I called them 28 times asking them to stop calling me, they went mental! What a great way to wind someone up who you're sick of getting calls from. In the end they pleaded with me to stop calling them. I suggest everyone who has an all inclusive phone contract, and a few minutes to spare on a train journey or a long car trip, to fight fire with fire - give them a taste of their own tactics. TAXES / HMRC automated message, American accent apparently from HMRC. Changes from UK to US terminology through the call. Threats of arrest and court warrants unless you call the number they give you.

When I picked up the phone I was told I was being called as I had had an accident. It wouldn't have been me anyway as I had answered my wife's mobile phone !! I asked who the company who the company was... I had an answer mumbled back at me... Then asked whether I would like to discuss the accident - I asked who had asked that the company call me.... and the caller hung up ! Technique - asked them a question, every time they ask you one !!

SCAM had my name and was trying to get details like age and if I was a smoker out of me. While I was talking he googled the number to see if it’s from the pension company he was claiming he was from. It didn’t come up so I told him it’s a scam and i’m giving his number to the police. He began to cuss me out and said “you’re a waste of time. Go jump off a bridge and kill yourself” and then he hung up the phone. He was trying to force an english accent but was definitely foreign. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
