Whoever they ask for tell them to remove your number and do not confirm any information with whatsoever; it will be sold to others even if you answer no to questions like "have you had an endowment policy" (see another post elsewhere online. I received a call from this number today saying they were finance and l had a cheque for £1900 . Asked for my bank details and what bank l deal with. I do not have a bank account ( thank god) but they said is there anyone who could put cheque in their bank .if so need bank details. Seems suspicious ?

SCAM / SPAM 0203 468 5940 is more than likely a scammer . Male with Scottish Accent phoned asking if I had enquired about an Isa. I have not spoken or electronically enquired about an Isa in years. So a cold caller which I had thought was now illegal. Bad vibes. Don't divulge any details. He was pleasant enough but that in itself is a trick of the trade, and he as all scammers are thinking about there next bite. BEWARE.
