This number belongs to a Savings and investment company. Was very bad reception on the call but the company name started with the word Scottish. I couldn t make out the rest.

Called by this number today, said from Labour Party, questioned about why I joined as a registered supporter of Labour Party, was I a member of another organisation etc. I really took exception having to declare whether I voted labour in the last general election; irrespective of whether I did or not, that s my business! Since when do people have to tell others how they vote in at the polling booth!

Just received a phone call from them asking to verify the second part of the address and then demanded to pay the bill now as we may get charged if we keep delaying it. once I told them that I will pay the bill tomorrow they kept demanding me to pay it now. I told them that it won t make any difference if I pay it today or tomorrow as it s weekend and they will not receive the payment by Monday the earliest anyway and then they hung up without saying anything lol. Persistent callers and aggressive when challenged! Very intimidating and seemingly designed for targeting vulnerable individuals. Interchangeable representation whereby company reference/affiliation may differ from call to call.

This number, and a few others like it, have been calling me at random hours of the night, and play an automated message claiming to be from paypal, and telling me that there is an urgent security issue, and I need to verify my account details. It s clearly not from paypal, and is a way of scamming people.

Just got a call from this number asking for someone with the correct surname and initial but different first name. I said they had the wrong number; she then asked me if we lived at an address that I d never heard of; I said no; so she asked me if we lived in an area without mains gas supply; I said no. She thanked me for my help, and that was it. I have no idea what it was all about???
