I do not recognise this phone number to be of a business that I have corresponded with and still don't after looking it up. I allowed the call to ring out because of this.
When called the message claims that it is a company called Best Comparisons Ltd. The call is about funeral plans, website www.bestcomparison.co.uk Suite A First Floor 138 Mainstreet Gibraltar No record of this business on Companies House website. Possibly fraudulent.

Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.

I called the number, it wasn't recognised
Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

SCAM not Not answer as it then programs your number into the system and you will get charged every time they call you. I have bloced the number as I called it from a prepaid sim card that I keep in an old phone for just this purpose. It is a phone number verification call.
Call about unsecured debts. Ask how did they get my information. and they hung up. when I tried to call back it said the number you called in not recognised.

SCAM Got this text saying it was from llyods and that I paired a device. Said to click a link if it was not me. I didn't pair any device and I have NEVER had a llyods account. A google search does come back with the number linking it to India and I have been getting some calls from India in the last month or so. Obviously I never answer these calls.

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I received this call yesterday and it appears to originate from Meriden, Conneticut. I automatically ignore these sorts of numbers and block them. However, I'm being inundated with these calls on a daily basis and it's so frustrating as they will keep calling you but from a different number!
