Yeah, these idiots keep calling me too. My advice is to play along and waste their time. I spent hours providing them false contact and banking details. They got really angry when they kept asking me to confirm the account number. It feels so good wasting their time when then had full intentions of wasting myne / whilst trying to rob me blind . Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Man with strong Indian accent calling himself "Daniel", claiming to be calling from "Microsoft Encarta" and saying that hackers had infected my PC, so he'd need access to it. A complete criminal scam. I told him I needed to go and get my computer, then left him waiting for ages until he eventually hung up. Number now blocked & reported to ICO.

Declined the call because was flagged as potential spam. Then I Googled it to find out that it didn't register on Google as a known number. Super suspicious. So I'm blocking the number. Anyone wanting to contact should have my email address.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.
SPAM this number has called 5 times today I have never answered the call and they never leave a message on the answer machine which means they are not genuine.

Received a text which I believe to be a scam text message claiming that I should visit a website to claim my £400 entitlement for the new Government fuel bill discount scheme, yet my fuel providers have already previously stated that I need do nothing as the discount will be applied automatically without me having to claim it.

SCAM ambulance chasers that don't even know if there's been an ambulance! Get a call from them every few days, consistent script: "We're calling from the Legal Department of MAUK" (there is a website for mauk.uk but no listing in Companies House, and the directory for the building in Reading they claim to be in doesn't include any such entity). I keep reporting the calls to ICO and TPS. You'd think the imbeciles would give up - it's been going on for years.
