SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.

Couldnt really understand caller because of foreign accent Seemed to be an unsolicited sales call perhaps life assurance

Claiming to be head of probate compliance for Europe and the Middle East under the Asia Pacific Group, SCAM, letter in the post from Ying Mui saying that, "Pardon my brevity but I don not have the luxury of time, I will get right to the point, and it is my sincerest hope you give this the significant consideration it deserves....I am tasked with finding a viable recipient of an account owned by our client bla bla (same as our surname)who passed on without completing probate documentation. ..."

This number says that it is Apple Pay. It claims that my account has been suspended. It sends me to a suspicious link. This link will forward you to a virus. Please don’t trust this. Xx

I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... Automated call saying from bank. Suspicious activity on bank card/credit card. Checked online and does say fraud team do automated calls but then will phone or text you… I just don’t press any buttons on phone as you never no.. phoned fraud line to check.. guess what it wasn’t them.

SCAM Automated call on 10/7/23 at about 10am. Message said from Barclays fraud dept, payment of £800 pound to American on-line gambling noticed on visa account, press button 1 if not me. Thought it was a scam as bank wouldn't send automated call, phoned bank on their known number, bank said not on my visa account scam.
