Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. A couple of days ago I got two text messages confirming an appointment" in East Dulwich London. Needless to say I had no such appointment. I checked the address and it appeared to be a company renting out marquees. I also checked the phone numbers and thus I found this site. Now they have started ringing me but leaving no message. Either they have a wrong number, they are scammers or they are timewasters.

Came up on phone as 01382746986 then International but definitely Only had the Sundee area code of 01382 no other prefixes. Answering machine took the call and recorded part of the automated message apparently from Amazon Prime saying that unless I contact them 99.99 will be taken from my bank (Never mentioned pounds or dollars or any currency, just 99.99) Obviously a spam call.

SCAM- didn’t answer it had a voicemail with it that I didn’t listen to either. If you can block the number.
I initially ignored their calls but I am glad I answered a call in the end. They helped me locate an old workplace pension that I had two decades ago. I hadn t given the pension much thought since I left the job. I couldn t of afforded hundreds of pounds to pay a financial advisor so they really helped me out. I do understand people being annoyed about the cold calling though.
