Received a call from this number with an electronic voice recording claiming that our BT line was to be disconnected. We are NOT with BT! . This is a scam and a fraud. It was also at 8:30 in the morning when not everyone would be up. I do note that googling this number does seem to produce a former genuine use for it, but i double-checked the number. This was a scammer., There is no question about it.

Automated call claiming to be from HMRC due to fraud on 'my account' with the threat of immediately being arrested if I didn't continue with the automated call - hung up as I find this highly unlikely.
As above they phone me same time every night and when I answer they either hang up or start on about help with your debts this company then ask for so much money off you I my answer to them is usually unrepeatable but what I have noticed the number has slightly changed but is still a Dumfries number

Fraud - Called left voicemail, robot voice asking for call back about a court order. Called asked who I was speaking with said HMRC. What's your call regarding, they said your tax filing, I said I don't file taxes, then he said what you don't work, not at all? I said no, I don't file taxes. Then I said what department of HMRC are you calling from, he said the tax department (I'm an accountant, there are many many tax departments).
