SCAM called to day at 0801 Tuesday morning Said that my internet was being used illegally and internet would be disconnected and to press 1 or 2 for more info. Pressed 1. Another male anserwed and asked why I was phoning. , Isaid Iwas told to call because my internet was being used illegally. He then asked me to go to my computer. I asked who are you and what is this about. He hung up.. I realised it was a scam

It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. 07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

I was trying to activate a phone on my company network and after working with Verizon and the phone started initializing it came up with this phone number which is 1/2 way around the world for Bribane. Verizon still working on figuring it out. Not sure how this phone number was hijacked to a phone number so far away from my location and mysteriously changed numbers. The phone number on the account has been on my account for 25 years now.

He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?

Got called by this number around 4:30PM on 21 March 2023. Guy with an Indian accent spoke, but hung-up after about 5 seconds. Tried phoning back, and it says "Welcome to Farn Mart", but none of the options connect you to anyone, it just hangs-up after you choose one.
I called the number, 02037732113, after missing the call and got an automated message from the Housing Dispair Team. I blocked the number.
