Jason from 'housesdisrepair.com' rang then was most alarmed when I said look it up on the internet. Then he slameed the phone down

FAKE recorded call, claiming to be Inland Revenue and threatening a fine or jail if IO did not press 1.

01797 740263 called 16 Jan 23 at 13:48hrs left no message, on ansa machine. 01797 360627 called 16 Jan 23 at 09:40 hrs, silent call. 01797 740246 called 13 Jan 23 at 09;25 hrs, silent call 01797 740242 called 6 Jan 23 at 14:07 hrs, silent call 01797 360623 called 3 Dec 22 at 08:30 hrs trying to sell loft insulation. 01797 740247 called 28 Nov 22 at 09:17 hrs left no message. All reported here. ANYONE got any suggestions please?

Another site shows calls started from this number on 5th March 2023 & users have searched this number several hundred times by 14:00 hrs on 6th March !!!! Rang off before I could answer!!?? An experience shared by many others checking this Robocall/Scam Call Centre number.

Caller claimed he was from Curry's / PC world and was running a promotion for smartphones. BYYEEEEEEEE

SCAM - says from uk revenue and customs, recorded by woman with American accent threatening court action if you don’t press 1 to speak to an agent. Don’t do it - all correspondence from government departments come via post!!!

SCAM texted me about an everi driver and asked to click of suspicious link to "resolve matter". I haven't ordered anything recently.

Called saying that they were from bank and that Amazon had taken money from my bank account for items sent abroad.

SCAM - Claims my credit card has been charged with unexpected transactions. Don't press 1 !!!

Scam - "tenancy deposit scheme" I don't have one so figure it's a scam.

This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.

Caller said they were from O2 and had been looking through their monthly contracts to offer a 40% discount to subscribers. Said they would send an email and 2 codes to my mobile for me to claim. I don't have a contract with O2!! Also had a call from 01233 542989 this morning but couldn't answer it - seems like the same company. 02034552700 - This company relates to OAKMOUNT AND PARTNERS LIMITED - Reg No. 07101464 who are fraudsters been scamming people into fake investments such as Carbon Credits, Oil, Metal, Solar Panel etc since 2009 THAT don't exist. They will steal your money in order to feed their lives, you will not receive any returns only complete lies. If you have invested and paid into any of their accounts please contact your local police asap. These fraudsters are also using various fake addresses across Essex UK.

Fraud A scam - and a very convincing one too !! Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! Thankfully we realised in time and put a stop to it. They had enough information by then to make it dodgy!!!!

03726945413 Claiming to be from SKY asking if We’d shared our router information with anyone else (as we use NOW TV which is part of SKY I listened) and then they asked me how many lights were flashing on my router ( there was one light flashing and this made me suspicious so I hung up). It may be nothing but better to be safe.
