These numbers are provided by "reputable"service providers and are used (mostly) by independent marketeers on commission from large companies (e.g. BT, Sky, British Gas, etc.) to push products. I do NOT understand why TPS, ICO, or anyone else seems to give a proverbial **** about the nuisance these people are when you have taken every precaution to avoid them.

Have been getting calls from this number for a while. But last week I told them I wasn?t interested in any survey and the guy started using racist and abusive language. All these calls from different numbers seem to come from the same location. Whatever you say to them I presume they are selling your number to telemarketers as having completed a survey and no matter what you have said a telemarketer soon calls a says something like "in response to your survey"
