Automated call purporting to be Amazon Prime reminding me of my subscription of £79.99 is due to be taken from my bank account. This account is in my daughters name, also if I want to speak to someone it said to dial 1, which I did and got an Asian sounding voice. When I tried to explain she cut me off. It is my belief that this is a scam call.

This pervert was sending disgusting text messages to my partner over a period of months despite the number being blocked, he used different apps to bypass. When challenged he blocked me without any response. How he got my partner’s number is still a cloudy one, but we in the Trans community do not make a habit of encouraging men to “slap us in the face with a (male chicken)” as a form of alarm clock. This number called my mobile then disconnected after 2 rings. I called it back and an automated voice in an irritating American accent said "Hi. Thanks for calling. Please hold while we connect you". TAXES / HMRC voice message sounded like the start of a scam.
I was called on my mobile from this number at 15.05 on 4 May 2023. I didn't get to the phone before it stopped ringing and there was no message left. On 24 April 2023, I was also called from a number in the same range, that is 0141 320 0285, with exactly the same results. I've now blocked both numbers, but no doubt they could call me next week from 0141 320 0275 or similar! I've given it the benefit of the doubt with a rating of Annoying. I think it's actually likely to be Dangerous.
