This was a call from o2 sales, trying to sell discounted SIM only mobile phone contracts after I ordered a free PAYG SIM card from their website.

This caller claims to be the PPI Team but is just another one of Mr Lee Paul Mellors companies. He holds 7 appointments at 7 active companies, has resigned from 4 companies and held 18 appointments at 18 dissolved companies. Clearly this looks odd!!! Their web site is http://www.ppiteam.co.uk/ but the address on the site cant be found via google maps. A list of some of his other companies is below: ? ACTIVE -Harwood Claims Management Limited ? I got a call from this number this afternoon. My policy is not to answer calls which are not on my contact list. No message was left on my answering machine. I barred it and this allows me to call it but when it phones me it will get the engaged tone and pay for it. I phoned the number and my provider says it does not recognise the number. Another exciting day at the office.

I tried calling number back but it asked me to phone a code--- Needless to say I did not call code!! It was an Indian sounding gentleman and I suspect is a cold caller.

This is the second time in two weeks that my 89 year old mother has received a call from this number purporting to be HMRC. Luckily, she puts the phone down as soon as she knows...
