Trusted to answer as it's a number local to me. Turned out to be an automated message claiming to be from VISA payments to say that my card had been charged £300 to Amazon and £1100 to Western Union, encouraged me to press 1 to dispute charges. Decided it was going to be a phishing scam and hung up.

Unexpected inbound call at 1724 hours on 27 Jan 2023. I diverted the caller to my phone's screening assistant but the caller hung up after 3 seconds.

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. Very odd and certainly not into giving my views on our amazing NHS to a country that wants to bloody buy it off us!!

I asked her to slow down as I could not hear her properly - she went on talking very quickly and when I said "Stop and tell me what you are talking about" She then seemed to bang the phone down.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. I got a call from this number with an recorded voice telling me that my credit card had been used on Amazon. I know that my credit card company never calls my phone number so i put the phone down before the end of the call.

IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. The question I would like answered is if LLOYDS know they have detected fraudulent activity on a card, why don’t they stop it?

I have has these calls before and seemed to be an obvious scam, so I briefly went along… The caller said I would receive an email from o2 but first I would have to pass security and he would send me 2 links with questions. Fraud called telling me that somebody in the USA has just spent £600 on my debit card and to stop payment they needed my sort number for my account when I said I will contact my bank myself they hung up.
I don't know who it was, cause I didn't answer it. When is looking for you and need to speak with you, leave a voice mail, all the time. From this number, no voice mail, so it's not important.I have blocked it.

I decided to answer and an Indian lady said she was from the "debt investigation department" . Apparently some government sceme to reduce your debt by 30-40%. I declined and hung up. Now blocked.

I had a message from this number saying hi mum I’ve dropped my phone, can you message me on this number. I replied asking who it was. Then got a WhatsApp saying hi mum it’s Jenny are you busy. I don’t know this person, and suspected a scam, so I blocked the number.
Claimed to be from o2, managed to send me an activation code from my actual O2 account then asked me to give him the number despite the message saying I shouldn’t. Clearly a scam, do not give them any details.
Put down the phone once the call was answered.

SPAM Going by other reports it is a Bank Scam, claiming 2 dodgy payments on your account. But could also be the dreaded I'm calling from Microsoft - monitoring the worlds IP addresses and yours is being used illegally. Whoever they are block the number and relax. It might be good if you have your Banks fraud team number logged in the phones phone book.
