Called twice in the space of 5 minutes, first time I answered they hung up after I said hello. Second time they asked for me by name, I asked who they were calling on behalf of and they hung up again.
Did not pick up as dont know anyone in the UK - live in Australia.

Searched Google and found they are being looked into by the FCA as they are unlicensed and are trying to sell services or products with out being registered. Probable scam or fraud. The telltale signs: 1. Delay before speaking 2. Lots of background noise - a call centre 3. Says he is from a telecoms company but name is indistinct.

SCAM Called on my mobile @ 20.00hrs. A Northampton dial code. Caller when questioned was from "the Philipines" looking to see if I qualify for "home insulation" funding. When asked how my phone number was accessed the caller hung up. Had this not been a recognised dial code I would not have answered the call. number now blocked. Also appears on missed calls list from yesterday @ 12.58hrs.
Missed call. Didn't call back to see who it was. No voicemail was left bu the caller.
