Fraud- They left a voice message which was computerised saying it was HMRC and if I do not call them back "get ready to face legal consequences" was almost laughable how bad the message was

Had 2 missed calls from this number today, glad I didn t call back after seeing the info on this site that it is Caledonia Energy selling solar panels. I am also on TPS and shall be making a complaint. How do these companies get your details?

REALLY HALIFAX. IGNORE THE PEOPLE SAYING THIS IS A SCAM THEY ARE 100% WRONG. Turns out my emergency credit card had a fraudulent payment on it. I’ve never used the card so Halifax must have leaked my details, which is highly worrying. Fraud - tell you that HMRC have issued a warrant for your arrest and to press 1 then they leave the connection open at their end and charge you premium rates for the call. Please don't answer - people have lost up to £300 pressing 1 and then they continually try you on different numbers every day after this. This should have been stopped long ago by the authorities - it's a disgrace that it hasn't been.
