Identified as Your Mortgage Review Intimidating mature lady caller encouraging me to change my mortgage to one with a lesser interest rate given that we re in a climate of low interest rates.. Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

Recorded call: "This is an important announcement ..." I hung up on them and added them to my all bar list.

It keeps calling me but it s Three advertising about their contract. The numbers keep changing but they re very similar. I always either ignore the call or miss the call.

They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

As for the others, claimed to be from HMRC and said I would be arrested shortly if I didn t press 1. Obvious scam despite the well-spoken English middle class accent recorded in the message played.
