Do not answer. My number is registered with the MPS (Mobile Preference Service) yet they still called. Claimed that they are from Assured Legal and that they are calling about an accident I recently had (not true). As soon as I tried to explain that their records were incorrect they hung up on me. They call from this number twice a day under the guise of different company names - Direct Utilities, Business Utilities, Select Utilities, Regional Utilities. They are clearly dumb, because when requested to remove our details from their records and stop calling, they say OK and then don t do it, despite being told the we only have a mailing box address and therefore have no need for utilities. Go back to school, children!

It's a fake number anyway so don't give it any further thought. 020 is the city code for London but digits after that start with 3, 7, or 8.

Pension review - The welsh accented caller advised that I hadn t had a pension review recently . She knew my name. I advised her that I hadn t opted in for these sort of calls, and besides she was obviously lying about the state of my pension. She told me I HAD opted in as she knew this ! I asked her where she obtained my details and she told me from a company called Digital Marketing . I then asked her the name of HER company so I could issue a formal complaint, at which point she hung up.
