Do not answer. My number is registered with the MPS (Mobile Preference Service) yet they still called. I received a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC & that I should not ignore. As this is now the 3rd number they have used I called back & told them this was a scam. They then said I shouldn t use language like that as HMRC could have me arrested, or something similar!!

Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!
