Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

This number belongs to a company called Allclaim Solutions, but they might call themselves ACS. After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. I answered once, sad computer scam wanting all your computer details, told them I had no computer, they rang off immediately!!! There was a gap of a few months and then my call minder registers they call, regularly, sometimes three times a day. I now screen calls with call minder but it is maddening to have to clear the call minder daily as they are not the only Company who harass in this way. Would be great if this kind of thing could be stopped for good.
