SCAM pretending to be BT openreach - We don't use them
Scam. Female voice robotic recording threatening jail for customs & tax avoidance. Press 1 or press 2. Hung up. An hour later received same recording from number with similar digit pattern (07166 instead of 0766). Hung up and blocked both.
Scam don't answer It had a recording on saying I'll be charged and something about criminal action called from Russia lol
Appeared as text: sorry missed call from this number who is calling please? Obvs a way to get you to call back for a sales pitch.
It was a English talking guy who was talking about Slovak Government.
Obviously some dodgy caller as no sooner I picked up the phone to answer/reject, the call ended

Didn't pick up as an unknown number and our landline is ex-directory known only to 2 other people as it is used only for elderly relatives to call who do not have mobile phones. The fact that this number is not listed anywhere and we do not use it ourselves would tend to indicate it is a spam or pfishing call.

Text Message - sent a random number (looked like the first half of a mobile number)
This number keeps ringing me in the north of Engand every morning between 7.00 a.m. and 8.00 a.m. No-one answers when you pick up the phone.
My phone showed me that is a fraud potential call, so I didn't answer it. Blocked it!

Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.
