01332 550938 Received call 13.38 Monday 21/9/2020 to an EX Directory BT landline. I answered automated Msg started with US accent claiming to be from HMRC – I hung up. The No. hails from Derby.

This caller claims to be the PPI Team but is just another one of Mr Lee Paul Mellors companies. He holds 7 appointments at 7 active companies, has resigned from 4 companies and held 18 appointments at 18 dissolved companies. Clearly this looks odd!!! Scam Official sounding voice on voicemail stating suspicious and fraudulent activity near border of Wales and advising to press 1 to tal to legal investigator before taking legal action. Mentions checking National Insurance number check. Obvious scam as some of the grammar is confused but quite alarming on first hearing. Number as displayed 0442155556312 African sounding accent - Not fluent in English. Asked if he was talking to mr ******* I asked him to tell me who he was without confirming my name. Sounded like Indian call centre but number was for Weybridge area! Tried tried to sell me a number blocking service; most likely a scam. They gave up eventually.
Spam call trying it on to find people who have been involved in a car accident - I haven t been in any sort of accident. I asked them to remove my number and the woman demanded I answer her questions. I hung up.
