Avantis!! these guys use several numbers but this one is actually a geographical number from Stoke-On-Trent

This number keeps calling me. Everyday 2-3 a day. It is vey annoying as I am at work and I don t want to switch off my phone as I have a family and I need to be available for them to contact me.

Apparently this is HMRC, saying the same as previously mentioned. Warrant for my arrest about to be issued because I m evading tax!!

Weird automated man s voice followed by woman s voice saying call this number 01563503847. No idea who it is or what they want and I don t care. If number not recognised I don t answer.

I was called just now by a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Openreach and that she believed I should be getting download speeds of over 40mbs. She asked me to do a speed test which I did and got 19mbs. I asked how I would know she was genuinely from Openreach. She handed me over to her supervisor. He tried to convince me he was genuine and asked my press Ctrl Windows buttons on my keyboard so he could improve my internet connection speed. I again challenged whether he was from BT Openreach. H

Someone somewhere was or is being scammed by some fake investment groups and it is sad, this experience is harder than many people think. Fishing for information regarding insurance. Life insurance, home insurance etc. A lot of calls where the line goes dead after I answer, then sometimes they ask for me by name. Tell them I m not interested but just keep on calling.
