SCAM Said calling from my credit card, but no company name given, about unusual transactions this morning. Wanting me to press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone. Supposed to have spent £400 on Amazon and £200 on a western union transfer.

Spam call. Tried to tell me they were from Currys PC World and peddle some phone upgrade. Not at Currys PC World customer, so why would they have my number, clearly fake. When I asked why they would contact me if I am not a customer they just hung up.

SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.

Told them this on both occasions. They said their details must not be up to date?? This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.

Automated A Very annoying automated call. They call on average 4 times day. Starting at 9am. Never leave a message, never say who they are. I called them back using this number and an automated message says this telephone number has been discontinued as it has been reported as fraud.
