We answered this call to be asked if we wanted a Will writing service. They not only new our phone number they also new our Surname. We are ex directory so this should not happen but I understand it is not always a BT fault/reason. It is, though a BT problem if they do not take the number away from the owner as well as refuse them a phone line. Surely this is possible? BT please read !!!

Claimed to be from CAB Helpdesk. Told me he had a list of my debts to discuss. I m sure CAB has enough work without cold-calling and, since I have no debts either I asked if this was a scam call. The caller hung up immediately.

I never answer 0845 calls because they are always scammers or nuisance callers. Just don t answer them as in time (yes I know it s annoying...) they will get bored (you get de-listed) and stop calling - Moving on to the next poor unfortunate !

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
