Just taken a call from a girl to my company saying she was from the energy care centre offering me £2000 towards new doors and windows. I clearly answered with my company name and she ignored this and carried on - so I had some fun with her saying I didn t have any doors or windows - she then said - do I have a brain and put the phone down. I wanted to say yes I do that is why is why I run my own company and I am not working for a call centre using a false phone number and making random calls for min wage b

This number keeps ringing, an electronic voice says goodbye and it hangs up. I assume it s someone who has realised I m on the TPS but not until after their computers have dialled the number. Very irritating.
I don't know for sure as I'm basing my suspicions on information for another almost identical number, which would be a scam posing as an accident claim company.

An automated message told me a warrent for my arrest would go out immediately if I did not answer the call by pressing one. Yes, l got a call from this number to say that l had been involved in a car accident. I said l hadn t, but asked who had informed them l had. She said the RTA so when l asked where the accident was, surprisingly the line went dead. Feeling bloody annoyed l called the number back, but it just said it was invalid. Not happy.

When phoned back a message said the number was not in service. So either they don t want to accept calls, or they re spoofing the number in the first place.
