This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. He is an elderly gentleman and went straight to the police as he doesn’t have Amazon prime, the police called the number but it doesn’t accept incoming calls surprise surprise. SCAMMERS

We answered this call to be asked if we wanted a Will writing service. They not only new our phone number they also new our Surname. We are ex directory so this should not happen but I understand it is not always a BT fault/reason. Exactly the same as previous comment but it was Sean Johnston that called first and then when I expressed concern he asked if I would like to speak to a more senior person. He repeated word for word what Sean had said and wanted me to log in to a laptop. I cut the call and heard no more. I have concern that a more vulnerable person may be sucked into this so please spread the word.
