Spam call from a Doors and Windows company saying they understood I was the owner so I asked them what my name was and they put the phone down

Said they were calling (my elderly father who lives with Dementia ????) from Domestic & General, which then changed to Legal & General, then back to D&G, wanting to pay a £250 refund and could they just have his bank card details to check…. ???? Fortunately I was there to intercept. SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

Fraud. Pretending to call from HMRC. Didn't know my name. Told them if they're calling from HMRC the least they should know is my name. Call was supposedly from Liverpool too, not a Liverpudlian accent to be heard.

This number called automated message stating customs and revenue. American accent stated that I would be arrested if I did not pay a fine. Said o press 1 if I wanted to talk to someone. I hung up immediately. I know that HM Customs and Revenue do not telephone anyone. Obviously a scam

A bloke called saying I had won some vouchers from a rewards company. Hung up and blocked him and hope he gets his just rewards for doing this scam, a menace to society

Phone call from Holbeach ref home repair refund dept. Tells you a refund on your warranty is due then asks for your bank details to process the refund. BE AWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

They say to be HMRC or something but couldn't understand why they called. Thought to stay on the line, got redirected to a person that only said 'Hello' and 'Yes'. I dropped the call 20s after.
