I got an invitation to visit a conference and it seemed very fishy. So I looked around and found this phone number on it website as a contact.
Immediate update - I got an almost immediate reply to my emails and they say that although this is a one-off £10 charge for a 12-month reminder service for which they make it clear there is a charge (hmmmm) they will process an immediate refund via the Post Office. So easy that one can only infer that they receive many, many requests per day for refunds from people such as me who are totally unaware that they had signed up. Result! I emailed [email protected]

This number seems to be used for a general call centre of a general purpose, they profit on marketing of any goods or services. Better refuse to answer - it should be also a silent call (testing itf the number is answering). In most cases this number is used in connection with O2 business centre and services.
