As usual, when I was hard at work on something important that needed concentration, I got this call again. The usual recorded voice addressed me as "Dear customer". Before turning to Tellows I looked it up on another site and found there had been 169 complaints about it there alone in a few days. Surely the authorities can do something about this, or are the perpetrators so clever they cannot be traced? I hope they are, and that they will get their deserts for their criminal behaviour.

Hi, As far as I am aware this is a telemarketing scam posing as Advantis Credit Agency. The number is not related to them however if you were to search Advantis this is the first company you will find. Do not call them back! This number called - voicemail that was left indicated it was customer service survey after my car was serviced, they mentioned the actual garage name so I guess they have employed a call centre to do the follow up on their behalf.
